Twitter Introducting New Advertising Product?
Is Twitter introducing a new advertising product onto their site?
If you sign-in to Twitter you will see a text based link on the right hand side of the page, below the trending topics section.
Have a look:
Twitter introduced Sponsored Tweets some time ago, and both Google and Bing are paying Twitter a fee to index their tweets.
Now it seems Twitter may be experimenting with new Text based Link advertising to try and generate revenue.
Unfortunately there is nothing specific for Australia – the link is for NFL in the US, but keep your eye on the site to see if this changes.
